Birthday Quilt!

Just before my birthday, I got a box. The first fun thing was that it had a note on it!



My friend Tim works at the Post Office in Manhattan. It was a special birthday treat.

Then I had to wait two days before I could open this beauty from my friend Sarah, who JUST started quilting.

I know! Isn't it gorgeous?

Even the back is lovely.

And once I put it in it's place over the arm of my red chair, it became glaringly obvious that what the living room has always needed is a spot of pink. It makes me smile 20-30 times a day, and is the perfect size for my lap.
