When I was 7, my Mom gave me her sewing box from when she was a girl. She taught me how to do cross-stitch and I made some tea-towels for her and for my Grandma Anna. When I finished the tea towels, she said I could start my first sampler.
Somewhere along the way, I got distracted.

Last year I found it in my sewing box and decided to finish.
The day before Katie came, I did.

I think I'm going to hang it in her room.

How pretty!
I know your Momma is enormously proud of you Betsy, and not particularly for cross stitch prowess.
Katie will love it.
I love it! What an enormously special project.
