The first installment of instructions just posted. Looks like we're starting with Granny Squares, which I'm especially excited about because I've never made any. I know! They're a crochet staple, but I've just never done one. Getting started tonight!

She has lovely step by step pictures and instructions, and says any shade of green will work, and any white yarn. Anyone else in?

That is really a fun idea! I would totally do it but i'm rushing to finish another crochet project before Christmas.
they look like coasters...or extraordinarily small pot holders.
I think I'll try to join you. I'm up to my eyeballs in crochet projects right now, though. Trying to catch up after taking 2 months off and getting presents ready. Aaaahhh!
I've yet to do granny squares either :)
My mother-in-law told me she learned to crochet by starting to do granny squares, but I don't know how to do them. I'm hoping for more crochet lessons at Thanksgiving.
***Started working tonight and read on down to the comments to see that TC in Australia is really a DC to us here in the US. And the weight of yarn should be a light worsted weight, maybe like a baby yarn? FYI***
