Haiku!

February is National Write Haiku Month (NaWriHaiMo).  In the Library, I'm posting a haiku for each day, and the February challenge for the kiddos is to read five books and write a haiku about each one.  I thought it might be fun to keep track of my haiku here.

February days
are short and cold and perfect
for writing haiku.

Crescent moon morning
tinted sky from blue to gold
on the way to school.

2/5/13

Snuggly warm baby
wrapped in blankies and in love
as I leave the house.
