Compassion

Shauna pointed out The Pioneer Woman one day, and I've enjoyed reading since.

This week her husband and girls are in the DR with Compassion International, and I'm wildly impressed by what they're doing there.

Here's one of the posts, and another, and another. Probably, if you're reading this in a timely fashion, and not a year from now, it'd be best just to go to the site and read. My links are kind of random.

I love Ree. I saw an article about Marlboro Man's HUGE family ranching business in one of Dad's farm & ranch magazines this summer and recognized him and Pesky BIL Tim from all her photos. I've really enjoyed reading about all the Compassion bloggers' experiences in DR as well as the previous trip to Uganda.

The trip from her younger daughter's perspective is beautiful.

Wow, I think I could spend hours reading her website. I haven't even gotten to the mission trip stuff yet - I got sucked into reading the love story between her and her now-husband. I'll tell Heath to blame you for my non-productivity today. :-)
