On Tuesday morning we passed our inspection and started hanging insulation! This was my favorite step because it went so fast. Lickety split!

Happy Workers.
After that we eventually started hanging drywall on the ceiling, which was taking FOREVER. We also discovered that I can only carry 6 sheets of drywall into the basement before I am too tired to carry any more. Hmph.

Way to go! You are moving right along. I think it starts to look really finished when the drywall goes up!
i am impressed...matt and i wouldn't be able to work together on a project like that. please tell me someone lost their temper at some point :).
Hanging the doors was tense, but otherwise we really had a nice time working together. We had loads of outside help from M's brothers Chris and Michael, and from his Dad.
Looking good. I can't wait to see more pictures.
Yeah, I agree with frenchgirl, it is hard doing home projects with a spouse without tempers flaring, nostrils flaring, everything flaring! :) It's so sweet it turned out to be a wonderful experience.
