For invitations, we blew up mini beach balls and wrote the info with a sharpie (I thought as I was finishing that maybe a wet erase marker would have been better? Because then the ball could revert to normal, but it'll kick either way).
Then we deflated them and put them into the mail. I was a little nervous about this step, because I just used regular envelopes and postage, but I think they all came through just fine.
