35 years ago today my parents were married.

When the Hospice Nurse told me that I needed to ask any questions I had, I asked Mom how to stay married forever. She told me "Well, you just do it every day, and some times are better than others."
I'm thankful.

I think the answer is good kids and strawberry shortcake, myself. But her advice is good too. :)

The only point I differ in on Susan's list would be ice cream, the comfort food of this clan. The Italian ice was nice too.

I did about a triple-take from the photo to the title and back--totally thought it was you in the picture! How precious you got to ask your mom some of those questions.

michele--how on earth did anyone put that relational chain together?

And I've been wondering if Matt is related to a Patrick Thiessen who just went to New Zealand?

Betsy - I was at Esther's this weekend, and she was showing me pictures of the 9.9.09 baby, and I remembered your blog. Then I saw it was the same blog (I remembered from the Anna video a couple months ago) and everything came together. Tiny world!
